| Full Profile Site Archive | The VBL began in 1995 and has been an active league since then. A league has never closed due to lack of participation or competitiveness, but merely a Commissioner\'s need to move on for personal reasons.
If you think you know how to run a team, this will be a spot to prove it. Only certain ratings will appear which means most of your scouting will be done by 1 person. You.
Prior to the initial draft the Commish simmed 3 seasons to give owners an idea of the performance and capability of each player.
We just opened the league up to the \"public\" with experienced VBL\'ers getting the first crack.
The best part about the VBL is the Commish does not own a team, and never will.
So no longer will you have to wonder why the Commish\'s team is in first place or why he always seems to get the best prospects.

We then moved to ootp6.5 and the league went into hiatus around 2008 (after restarting the league in OOTP2007). In 2009 AHIBA has been reformed and we are currently in our first season.
We are a 20 team fictional league. GM are allowed to create everything form team names, logos, and stadiums. There are currently no writing requirements but we hope to become a writing league. This league will mostly be based from the league website but there is a basic forum.
