Help:

  • If you want to look at the entire directory, either don't use any filters or use the show page.
  • Basic search only searches a limited number of fields including League ID, League Initials, League Full Name, among others.
  • So far, only phrases work in the input boxes. That is, "league baseball" will probably not yield any results, but "baseball league" will. I'll try to add and/or functionality later.
  • Asterisk wildcards are not needed. For example, "hi" will pick up "hi", "this", etc.
  • For a filter or sort to work you have to both select the field and input the criteria. If you don't, it will be ignored.
  • Filter #1 / sort #1 need to be used before the other filters / sorts can be used.
  • If you want to use the detailed filters below, don't use filter #1.
  • When you use a filter, you will only see those records with that criteria for that field. That is, if that criteria does apply to other leagues, but it is not listed for them, they will not show up. For example, if a league is defunct, but it has not been updated yet, it will not show up in a search for defunct leagues.
  • For those fields with options, the sort direction depends on the order of the options in the database which is not necessarily alphabetical. For example, for Defunct, Yes comes before No.
  • If you don't want paging, enter a number higher than the number of records in the database ("999" should work for awhile) into the Number of Results Shown per Page input box. I'll try to add an "all" button later.
  • Basic display only displays a limited number of fields.
  • By default, the list is sorted according to the last updated date. So, if you're looking for a league you'll find the most up-to-date leagues at the top. If you're looking to bump your league, update it.
  • If you're not happy with your advanced search input and want to start over, press the restart button.
